Yuki Yano selected theremin ss her instrument of destiny. Theremin was not just another instrument to her. Yuki states, ‘Theremin allows me to access to the multidimensional spaces and it fuses my consciousness. Theremins help the visualization of the music and express the consciousness on imaginal canvas while I am dancing to music. Theremin binds every experience I had in the past and take my music to another level.’

テルミン Theremin テルミン Theremin
Back in 1920s, one of the first electronic instruments known as Theremins was invented by French Russian scientist ‘Leon Theremin’. In later years, Dr. Robert A. Moog, well known as the inventor of the Minimoog, popularized theremin in the minds of musicians. It played without touching, said to be, theremin is one of most successful fretless instrument. It reflects players’ mood and sounds very much like human voice.
In the other words, this electronic instrument has a taste of unplugged instrument. Theremin was adopted by world-famous musicians Todd Rundgren and Brian Wilson and Japanese musician Keigo Oyamada and Hiroshi Takano.

This album is a collaboration of Thereminist Yuki Yano and the Alternative Techno Duo "The SABOTEN".
World-renowned artists Hoppy KAMIYAMA and SAGUARO's worldviews perfectly matched and combined with Yuki YANO's.

Classical Master Pieces are dramatically destroyed and reconstructed as unstilted futuristic pieces of art.

The industrial and acoustic sound of Theremin is well composed and fantastically arranged with sense of humor.
Their skillful performance ability is worth listening to.

Unlike the other "light Neoclassic" songs, this is an elegant and deluxe "Rock of Neo".
After a long period of silence, Yuki YANO predicts the future of Theremin.

Yuki's outstanding playing technique in the "A masquerade" of A.L.Khachturian is also worth listening.

Yuki YANO is the one and only powerful but graceful and poetic-minded Thereminist .
We believe the mysterious eyes pictured on the front the cover of album is reflects her strong feeling towards this album.
So we hope you enjoy this album.(Chuji Akagi, musician)
